Shakira Shakiraa, born Shakira Kamulegeya Kyebalaba, is a Ugandan musician based in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she also works as a professional nurse. Her musical style blends R&B, Urban, and Afrobeat influences. She discovered her talent for music in 2010 when she auditioned for *American Idol* and advanced to the real judges' round.
Shakira draws inspiration from legendary artists such as Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, and Beyoncé. In Uganda, she has collaborated with artists like Pallaso on *Tinkula*, Reeksin on *Rainbow Song*, and recently released *Call Me*. Currently signed to Black Market Records, she has upcoming projects featuring collaborations with artists like Daddy Andre.
