Rickman Manrick, a rising star whose music has gained popularity in Uganda, will be featured on The Beat today.
The Swedish-based singer recently released the song "Naki," followed by "Wakanda," which premiered two days ago. He will discuss his journey into music and his experiences as a musician in the diaspora.
Rickman Manrick, whose real name is Derrick Ddungu, was born on December 25. Besides making music, he plays soccer and is studying to become a teacher. He was born and raised in Kampala, specifically in the Bakuli area.
