Maddox, born David Ssemanda Ssematimba in Kampala, Uganda, is one of the country's most renowned musicians, significantly contributing to the Ugandan music scene. His singing and talent are unmatched by any current artists.
He attended Makonzi Primary Boarding School and Busoga College Mwiri. After high school, he worked as a first-grade teacher at "Christian Life Children's Home," a school supported by "Feed The Children."
