Lord Fred Sebatta is a prominent Ugandan singer known for his Kadongo Kamu music. He is a talented singer, songwriter, and musician who founded one of Uganda's biggest Kadongo Kamu bands, Matendo Band.
Sebatta is the only surviving Kadongo Kamu artist from the mid-1990s, outliving contemporaries such as Herman Bassude, Kasozi Living Stone, and Prince Paul Job Kafeero, who all passed away in 1997.
From 1996 to 1997, they participated in a fundraising tour called "Muno Mukaabi" (A Friend in Need) to support the ailing Living Stone Kasozi and his family.
Fred Sebatta has released numerous singles and albums, known for their catchy and relevant content. His lyrics often address adult themes and provide guidance for people in relationships and family matters, discussing common issues and challenges.

In the mid-1990s, Lord Fred Sebatta released Uganda's first HD video and song, "Sam Wange," which gained him nationwide recognition as a Kadongo Kamu artist. He continued to build on this success and has since produced over 100 Kadongo Kamu songs.
