Muhairwe Reegan, known as Ray G, was born and raised in Ishaaka. He attended high school at Adventist College. Ray G recorded his first hit single, "Amarari," at a very young age with Lyrics Records. His first video was released in 2013, but few expected him to become a regional sensation.
Ray G secured his first professional contract with Deconcept Music, which he eventually left to establish his own label, Awesome Entertainment.
Ray G performs in the Runyankole language and has released numerous singles over the years. He has collaborated with many artists from both the western and central regions of the country. He is often regarded as one of the best musicians in the history of the Western Region.
**Personal Life**
Ray G is married to his longtime girlfriend, TV West host Annabell Twinomugisha. They tied the knot on Saturday, October 16, 2021. The couple looked stunning on their wedding day, with gospel singer Levixone serving as Ray G's best man.
During the first wave of the COVID-19 lockdown in July 2020, Ray G and Annabell got engaged.
